In December 2019, HMD Global officially declared the arrival of the latest Nokia C1 compact entry-level phone. Sources have been speculating that the latest launch with model number TA-1312 certified by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) authority could be an updated version of the Nokia C1 phone. Considering the official report by Nokia Power User, the company has revealed the key points of the Nokia C1 Plus, which we will discuss in detail right here. Because of the long delay due to the worldwide pandemic, HMD has all plans to make up for it by revealing some of the major and significant features of the upcoming phone.
Lately, HMD has also been working on mid-range phones, including Nokia 9.3 PureView, Nokia 7.3, and many others. In addition to that, the Finnish company is also working on a new entry-level phone named Nokia C1 Plus. In the year 2019, the company launched the Nokia C1, and this year, they are planning to launch Nokia C1 Plus as a successor of the phone. As per the official updates, the EEC website has added a model number TA-1312, which reveals some of the latest launch features. Let’s get more into the details.
According to the official rumors, there has been speculation by Nokiapoweruser that the latest launch of Nokia C1 Plus will perform its working on Android Go software under the hood. It basically means that the phone will be able to have the stock experience in it, and on the other hand, it will be optimized for low-memory and third-party apps as well, which consist of Google Go, YouTube, Gmail Go, and more. Also, as per the latest post on the EC website, some device specifications have been revealed there.
Nokia C1 Plus comes with a 5.45-inch touch screen with a high resolution of 720p. As far as the phone’s camera is concerned, there will be a notch on the phone’s top area, which features a 5MP selfie camera, whereas the main camera will be on the backside of the phone with a 5MP shooter as per the listing. The phone will be powered by an 8-core CPU, which will also feature a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Talking about the phone’s storage, Nokia C1 Plus will come up with 1GB of RAM, which explains the reason behind the Android Go software going under the hood.
The internal memory will be 16GB, which is expandable and can be expanded with a microSD card. The mega battery of the device will be a 2500mAh battery; however, the phone does not come with the option of fast charging as the phone is targeted at the entry-level cost range. The phone’s dimensions are 149.1*71.2*8.75mm, which means that the phone’s size will be compact and fit in the palm of your hand. The available colors are blue and red, and as far as the cost is concerned, Nokia C1 Plus is expected to range under Rs. 8,000 if it launches in India.
