In a display of newfound camaraderie, Trump lavished praise on Kemp, stating that he is doing a “fantastic job.” The praise was a stark contrast to their previous animosity, which stemmed from Kemp’s refusal to help Trump overturn Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in Georgia.
Trump’s sentiments were not limited to his words of praise for Kemp, as he also took aim at the Biden administration’s handling of the hurricane response. Trump reiterated his false claims that Biden’s team has failed to provide a routine federal disaster response, painting a picture of gross incompetence.
