Experts who know about laws think the U.S. Supreme Court will reject Donald Trump’s claim that he can’t be taken to court for things he did to change the result of the 2020 election.

Even though lower courts said no to Trump’s claim, the Supreme Court is waiting until late April to make a decision. This delay worries people because it might mean the trial won’t finish before the November election, which could help Trump if he wants to run for president again.

Some people say the slow response from the court, along with most of the judges being conservative and Trump’s influence, shows that this isn’t just about the law—it’s about politics too.

The delay makes it harder to know when the trials will happen, especially since there are four cases against Trump, including one about paying hush money to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Trump says he didn’t do anything wrong and that these cases are just because people don’t like him.

Trump’s plan is to say these cases are only happening because people don’t like him, and by delaying things, he can make more people believe him. With the trials taking a long time, Trump can talk to the public and maybe change how they think, which could help him in elections.

Republicans who plan strategies think these delays are good for Trump’s campaign because he can say he’s being treated unfairly and get more support from his followers.

Trump has a history of using delays in court to help himself, and his supporters believe him when he says the cases are only because people don’t like him.

But some experts say these delays aren’t good for justice, and it’s important for trials to happen quickly. When the Supreme Court finally decides, it will be a big deal and could change what happens next in Trump’s legal fights and his future in politics.

People are watching to see if the court will move quickly and do what’s right, even with all the political pressure. This shows how complicated Trump’s legal problems are and what they mean for American democracy.
