WWE has recently filed trademarks for several ring names, revealing the identities of individuals set to make their debut in the NXT ring. Among these is Andrzej Hughes-Murray, a former Los Angeles Rams linebacker, who will be known as “Dion Lennox”. Hughes-Murray is one of the many former athletes WWE has scouted and signed to its NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) program.

The NIL program, which allows college athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness, has attracted a diverse group of talent from various fields. WWE announced its latest signees, including Adam Berghorst, a baseball player from Indiana State, and Bayley Humphrey, an acrobat from Baylor, among others.

Berghorst, who stands at 6’7″ and weighs 260lbs, joins the ranks of WWE’s growing collection of athletic talent. Bayley Humphrey, at 5’10”, brings a unique acrobatic background to the ring. Other signees include Darci Khan, a track and field athlete from Howard, and Desmond Coleman, a track and field athlete from Liberty. The list also features athletes from football, wrestling, track and field, and gymnastics, showcasing the breadth of talent WWE has attracted through its NIL program.

Kevin Robertson, a former Temple University defensive tackle, will also make his debut as “Keanu Carver”. It is worth noting that WWE filed for the “Dion Wilder” name, which may be a backup option for “Dion Lennox”, but it is possible that two different stars may use variations of the “Dion” name.

WWE’s efforts to bring fresh talent to NXT through the NIL program reflect the company’s commitment to innovation and expansion. By partnering with college athletes, WWE is able to tap into a new pool of talent and create unique storylines and characters. The company’s willingness to experiment with new ring names and personas also demonstrates its dedication to staying ahead of the curve.

As fans, we eagerly await the debut of these new stars and the exciting storylines that will unfold. With the combination of experienced athletes and fresh talent, WWE is poised to continue pushing the boundaries of professional wrestling entertainment.
