Dominik Mysterio’s betrayal of his father, Rey Mysterio, and Edge last year ignited a tumultuous storyline with The Judgment Day, which has left fans pondering his allegiance. His frequent partnership with Rhea Ripley has sparked curiosity about their relationship, with many wondering if they are more than just co-conspirators. Despite his family’s festive traditions being disrupted, including a disastrous Christmas Eve visit, Dominik has no qualms about ditching his loved ones. In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Mysterio revealed his disdain for any involvement with his family, preferring to leave all family matters to friend and partner, Rhea Ripley.

If Ripley is available, Dominik explained that they may celebrate special occasions together, such as the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. He hinted that if Ripley is around, they may take the opportunity to spark the family house on fire. “There’s a holiday for everything. It honestly just depends on her availability,” Mysterio said. “She’s like, ‘You know what, let’s go give it a shot,’ and when it doesn’t work, you know, you’ve seen the results.” He also mentioned that for Valentine’s Day, Rhea and he have special plans in store.

The ongoing tension between Dominik and his family will undoubtedly reach a boiling point when he faces his father, Rey Mysterio, at WrestleMania 39. Whether or not they choose to set the family house ablaze remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: the drama between Dominik and his family is far from over.
