Hornswoggle: Pro Wrestler’s Career Takes a Devastating Turn

In professional wrestling, Hornswoggle, who is now going by his real name Dylan Postl, has had a illustrious career entertaining WWE fans for nearly a decade. However, a recent conversation with Oh, You Didn’t Know revealed some shocking news about his physical status, leading him to retire from full-time wrestling. Postl underwent back surgery multiple times, including a major procedure as a child that left him paralyzed. He further complicated his condition with another surgery in 2021, which only made things worse instead of better. The surgery caused him to lose all feeling from the legs up, making his legs feel numb and as if they’re being pulled up. Despite having another surgery, his condition remains unchanged.

Postl, who was known for his acrobatic moves in the ring, has come to terms with the fact that his in-ring career may be over. While he still has the ability to “bite an ass and do a stunner,” he has ruled out any high-flying moves, including his signature top-rope splashes. It seems his time in the WWE may be behind him, leaving fans to reminisce about his memorable performances. Despite this, there is still a glimmer of hope that Hornswoggle may make a return to the ring eventually.

In an interview with Road Dogg, Postl shared his struggles with his condition and the limitations it has placed on his career. His candid conversation has shed light on the realities of professional wrestling and the toll it takes on the bodies of wrestlers. Fans are left to wonder what could have been if Postl’s condition had been addressed differently earlier on. Nevertheless, his legacy in the WWE remains, and his fans continue to cheer him on as he navigates this new chapter in his life.
