Marty Jannetty and Tammy Lynn Sytch (Via WWE/Twitter)

Tammy Lynn Sytch, the former WWE star, has just begun her latest chapter behind bars after being sentenced to 17 years in prison with eight years of probation for a felony charge of DUI causing death. The 17-year sentence was handed down after she pleaded guilty to the charges, including driving with a suspended license causing death, and multiple counts of DUI with damage to property and injury to a person. Her journey to this point began two months after a tragic accident in March 2022, which resulted in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Sytch had a history of impaired driving, and prior to the accident, she had already faced multiple arrests for driving under the influence. Despite this, she was able to continue her career and even started making a living on the subscription-based social media platform, OnlyFans. However, her latest legal troubles have put an end to her life outside of prison, and she is now facing a lengthy sentence.

Her mugshot, released after her prison booking, provides a Look into her current state. However, it is not all doom and gloom for Sytch, as she has filed an appeal on her sentence, hoping to convince the judge to reduce her time behind bars. If her appeal is successful, she will be able to leave prison earlier than expected, although she will still be subject to eight years of probation and have her license revoked.

The story of Tammy Lynn Sytch is a tragic one, and it is a reminder of the devastating consequences that can result from impaired driving. Her case serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the importance of responsible behavior behind the wheel. As the wrestling world continues to follow her story, fans are left wondering what the future holds for Sytch and whether she will be able to turn her life around after serving her time. Only time will tell.
