CM Punk’s surprise appearance at a recent WWE RAW event sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling world, and his visit to an Impact Wrestling television taping a short while later only added fuel to the fire. However, it was Punk’s stop at WWE RAW that really got under the skin of Eric Bischoff, a veteran of the wrestling industry. In a recent episode of his 83 Weeks Podcast, Bischoff unleashed a verbal barrage against Punk, calling him a “bitch” and scoffing at the idea that Punk would show up to RAW as a way to drum up attention.
Bischoff’s disdain for Punk is clear, and he doesn’t seem to have any qualms about expressing it. When asked about Punk’s motivations for attending RAW, Bischoff responded that Punk was motivated by a desire for attention, saying, “What a desperate bitch. Maybe because I have zero respect for him, like none. To me, it just came off as a desperate move for attention.” Bischoff went on to reiterate his disapproval of Punk’s actions, stating that he believes Punk is a “whiny, overrated bitch” who is desperate for controversy.
It’s no secret that Bischoff and Punk don’t get along, but Bischoff took his criticism to a new level on his podcast. His continued insults and denunciations of Punk’s actions are likely to further inflame the already heated situation, and it’s unclear what the future holds for the two wrestling veterans. One thing is certain, however: this feud is far from over.
The question remains, however, whether Bischoff’s insults will have any lasting impact on Punk’s career or reputation. Only time will tell, but for now, it seems that Punk is unlikely to back down in the face of Bischoff’s criticism. What do you think about Bischoff’s take on Punk? Let us know in the comments section.
