Raquel Rodriguez, a mainstay of the WWE Women’s division, has announced that she is leaving Florida after seven years to return to her roots with her family. In an emotional Instagram post, Rodriguez shared her gratitude for the lessons, experiences, and people she met in Florida, particularly her friend Oleslia23, who supported her at her lowest point. Rodriguez’s hometown is in La Feria, Texas, and she announced that her family squeezed into her Toyota Tacoma to bring her to Orlando, Florida, seven years ago to pursue her ambitions.

Rodriguez has been a prominent figure in the WWE Women’s division, winning the NXT Women’s Tag Team Title twice and the NXT Women’s Championship before making her main roster debut last year. She has seen some success on the main roster, but none of it has come from a singles run. Rodriguez’s announcement comes as she has been feuding with Nia Jax, with Jax recently defeating her on RAW.

Florida, where Rodriguez has lived for seven years, has been a significant part of her wrestling journey, and she has made a meaningful impact on the WWE Women’s division. Despite her success, Rodriguez is now ready to return to her roots and focus on her family. Her announcement has left fans wondering what the future holds for this talented wrestler. Will she continue to be a mainstay of the WWE Women’s division, or will she take a different path? Only time will tell.
