Former New York Yankees star Derek Jeter has a potential buyer lined up for his New York estate, Tiedemann Castle, after significantly reducing its price.
The property recently entered into a contract with a buyer in late May following a price cut to $6.3 million. Originally listed about six years ago for over $14 million, the estate previously failed to sell at auction.
Located in Greenwood Lake near the New Jersey border, the estate spans three parcels and features six bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, extensive gardens, a lagoon, and an infinity pool, according to the listing.
Diane Mitchell, the property’s listing agent, declined to comment on the ongoing transaction.
Jeter retired from the New York Yankees in 2014.
